I found on my Twitter this morning that BuzzFeed is giving out free invites to the new Digg. Check it out and sign up! I already created new accounts and the new DIGG is just awesome. It's no longer your typical bookmarking or share this site. Like BuzzFeed has said it is like Twitter except with Digg.

A Special Task
I did a totally different and special task early this morning. My boss asked me to translate a long list of English instructions for their new househelp in Cebuano dialect. Unfortunately, their househelp couldn't understand English very much plus my boss and wife have thick Australian accent.
In my whole life, I just knew it that I don't even know a lot of Cebuano words. Haha! I still had to use an online dictionary or asked someone else. I had fun translating, I re-learned a couple of Cebuano terms.
...bye, had to starting working on my tasks now.

Tokyo, Japan
I'm not going to Tokyo, Japan this year nor in the coming years. =) But I'd love to go there with Dre someday.
Because of Team Bati (www.teambati.org) I'm exposed to other Asian cultures especially Japan culture. Everyday I'm learning to love the country.
I bumped into a travel blog early this morning. A pretty good round up of what a traveler should know about Tokyo or Japan before going there. Chris’ travel tips – Tokyo, Japan
So to all travelers be sure to read them carefully. Some of it might sound funny to you but that's how it is. It is a must for Gaijins to adopt to it in order to have a memorable trip to this so called the Amazing Land of the Rising Sun.

CANDWICH?
This is the sandwich for people who are always on the go and have no time to stop by restaurant or fast food. Excellent idea for campings, hiking and even on emergency situations like typhoons or floods (which always happens here in the Philippines).
Nah, it's not really a sandwich in a can but a sandwich wrapped in a plastic bag within a can. The plastic wrapping will preserve the sandwich. The can only serves as a container so it can be easily stacked in vending machines or on-the go stores and carried around.
But we won't be seeing these candwiches anytime in stores for now because its maker has a pending SEC lawsuit (details on the link).
I kinda like the idea of a sandwich in can. Very catchy and new. I want to try it once it goes out to public (Well, I hope!).

Google sued by Oracle for Ingfringement
Google was sued by Oracle for patent ingfringement of Java within Android. August 13, this news came out in almost all SEO websites and many other sites. It's all over the internet, spreading like wildfires.
More details on the technicalities here.
Let's see in the coming weeks on what will Google do about this issue.

Eat Pray Love
You must have heard about this phrase recently, this is the title of Julia Roberts' latest film opening this week in the US. But opens on October 6 here in the Philippines according to Sony Pictures' website.
When I saw the trailer I said to myself I definitely should watch this. Aside that Julia Roberts is the lead star in the movie the plot seems to be interesting and focuses on life of a married woman in journey to find a more exciting life and travels to Italy, India and Bali to find it. Also, I'm gaga over James Franco's smile.

Good morning Cebu!

View from the Office pantry around 6:45-ish AM. Foggy morning, definitely not smog. Another reason why Cebu is the best city in PI for me!

New home.
Wohoo! Good news!!!
Picstopia just moved to her new home - Definitely Hope. Picstopia.blogspot.com will retire and no new posts will be published there.
This time, I'll try my hardest to share just about anything and everything that I find to be cool, interesting, weird, sweet and definitely fascinating.
Another thing, I'm also on Tumblr. Good blog site but personally I still find Blogger the best from all of the free blog sites out there. I'm contemplating if I'm keeping my Tumblog or not. Hmmm. What do you think?
